The tension before buyers lit up the tape was palpable.. RTH, 2 day, 5 day VPOC and price all aligned with price coiling in a tighter and tighter range.
Thanks for your great work Smash and have a great weekend.
Love to see all the orderflow examples in your daily plans.
May I ask, why is Wednesday's fill section only down to 7390? Is it because the profile for that day was especially thin until that point? Thank you as always and have a great weekend!
Yes, the reasoning is tied to the thin structure below Wednesday’s main distribution. It’s not specifically about the exact 7390 level itself, but more about the low volume structure. In balanced conditions, these thinner areas are often revisited as the auction rotates.
When there’s no strong initiating activity to transition the market out of balance, price tends to continue exploring and “completing” the distribution rather than leaving poor structure unfilled. Over time, this is what creates the more D-shaped profiles we associate with balanced auctions.
There’s also an important difference between poor structure formed during balance (consolidation) versus imbalance (trending conditions). During imbalance, poor structure can remain unfinished for prolonged periods depending on the strength of the directional move.
Thank you for sharing your great work
Thanks Smash!

Another treasure trove of pure gold
@smash - I have a proposal.
I am creating new trading view indicator for your levels.
If you can create a levels in the following format and add it every day at the end of the message it would be great.
Could you please do that?
<base level> , <bull target1>, <target 2>, <tp3>, <vix for bull>, <bear target 1> , <t2>, <t3>, <vix for bear>
in today's example:
7479, 7509, 7540, , 15.86, 7456, 7420, 7390, 17.66
Please suggest. Instead of me making markings every day, I am planing to publish free indicator called - Smash Levels , it will have alerts too.
@smash - created trading view indicator with all the alerts.
https://www.tradingview.com/script/3wH8dpVY-Smash-Levels/
Please check if you can post the levels in format everyday.
Any recommendations on Books or courses to dive deeper and learn more about your process?
I created the indicator
it looks like this
