Initial Balance is the range established during the first hour of the regular trading session, covering the A and B periods on a Market Profile (TPO) chart. This range is always highlighted by a white vertical line along the daily profiles on my chart.

Perfect, thank you. I usually look at the Opening Range for 30 mins in stocks, but IB is probably more relevant for futes
