Good stuff. Thanks! Does the close matter for one time framing up and down? For example, if we closed below yesterday’s low…would that be considered OTFD?

Thanks! The market can’t go from one-time framing up directly to one-time framing down in a single session. It first transitions from OTFU to balance, and from there, it can either resume OTFU or shift to OTFD.

When one-time framing up or down ends, I define a balance area—though that can be somewhat subjective. For me to consider the market one-time framing again, that balance must be broken.

In this case, yesterday’s session ended the daily OTFU, shifting the market into a 4-day balance. This balance area now needs to break for me to call it one-time framing up or down again.
