Hi Smash, do you ever execute your positions outside of the prep level? On mgl (vwap, mid, ib...) or is your execution is always related to the level and orderflow. thanks for the daily analysis.
Good question. I do initiate trades outside of the predefined prep levels as well—it really depends on the real-time order flow. Sometimes a key level holds structurally, but the order flow response isn’t compelling enough for me to engage there. In those cases, I’ll often wait and look to join the move on a pullback where the order flow aligns better with the directional context.
So the levels act as references and context, but execution is always driven by what the order flow is actually doing in real time. Appreciate the support and glad you’re finding the daily analysis useful.
Hey Smash. When it comes to your levels are you pretty much ignoring if the overnight profile hits them? Do you even look at the overnight profile or a different chart for overnight?
Hey! The levels outlined in the plan are valid for the full session, including overnight. That said, what happens during RTH carries the most weight for me since that’s where the most meaningful volume and participation come in.
I do pay attention to the overnight profile for context (structure, inventory, ONH/ONL), but an overnight tag doesn’t “invalidate” a level. I’m mainly interested in how price behaves around the level during RTH and the order flow response there.
Thanks Smash. Your look above/below levels I noticed aren't always at extreme high and low. Do you base those on volume drop off paired with TPO's primarily?

I base these on levels where I expect intraday momentum to accelerate in favor of buyers or sellers, which are usually the initial targets.
Great levels, as always! Thank you!
