Can't tell you how much you've taught me over the years, it really is appreciated :) "bullish imbalance target" is a new one to me. Is this a fib or a measured move of some kind? Thanks again!
Like many self‑taught E‑mini traders with small accounts, I’ve learned a lot from Smashelito’s newsletter, charts, and commentary. 1) Today I finally understood what excess negated looks like on a Sierra chart. 2) It’s the first time I’ve seen a clear directional move from value on a Sierra Chart. 3) I couldn't imagine what ''lack of excess is'' without Smashelito marking it on his chart.
I’ve been thinking about how many smaller E‑mini traders—myself included—use TradingView for our charting and trading. I know your work is geared mainly toward professional ES_F traders who use Sierra Chart and focus on RTH, and your chartbooks reflect that beautifully.
It would be amazing if someday you considered creating something specifically for TradingView users as well—maybe even a guide or book on how to apply your ES_F trading plan within that platform. I’m sure a lot of us would benefit from it.
For my part, I read your newsletter closely, and using the fixed‑range volume profile on TradingView helps me break down the days and hours so I can really follow and understand everything you explain.
Thanks for all the work you put into your content. It’s incredibly helpful. Cordiali saluti da Helsinki.

I'm glad you find it useful! There are a few ways to calculate this; one simple method is to simply multiply the value area by 2.
Ahh interesting. Sounds like a few of us were wondering about it! Thanks for the explanation.
Yes, I was wondering this, too. I thought it looked like Friday's range below the VAL extended above the VAH but not sure if that is quite correct.
Thanks Smash! Great week ahead!
