Hello smash I was wondering since Sierra doesn’t provide vix cash do you use vix futures or you use some other platform for vix Cboe ?

I rely on Tradingview to monitor the VIX using their ticker TVC:VIX, which offers real-time data and is available free of charge.

Thank you smash I was wondering if you can explain how you use it. Today it stayed below the resistance level you gave and es was still weak can you explain little how you would approach these scenarios.

I just posted a brief recap with some reflections on today's session. In today's session, VIX not confirming weakness, suggested to not press shorts at the final downside target of 4256, which ultimately provided a decent bounce. I recommend visiting my archive at https://newsletter.smashelito.com/archive, where you can use the search function to look up "The correlation between ES and the VIX levels from the previous plan." This will provide you with a wealth of posts, including comprehensive recaps of ES and VIX.

It was very interesting to see how the sellers waited for Powell's speech , and despite some defense from the bulls the attacked en masse around 4350-5

HELLO Smashelito. May I know what broker you use for market profile. I use think or swim for Market Profile but it’s a little confusing for me because instead of period representation with letters they represent it with numeric values . Thanks again for sharing your knowledge. Very helpful

Hi Smash, Awesome Work.

I used to think the daily VIX levels you use to confirm strength and weakness is the multiple of 95% and 105% of the previous day close (and it's been roughly correct for the last month or so), but it's not the case for tomorrow daily plan. Just wondering how you calculate the VIX levels?

By the way, it works pretty well.

Hey Smash, what is the ticker in Sierra chart for the vix you are referencing

I rely on Tradingview to monitor the VIX using their ticker TVC:VIX, which offers real-time data and is available free of charge. I'm unsure if Sierra Chart provides access to CBOE VIX. To clarify this, you may need to get in touch with them directly. I monitor VIX cash, not the futures.
