September has been a ping pong market. Refuses to go down despite rates are in complete turmoil. Close tried to crack 7650 SPX but it has been bought back.
It seems this phase is mostly driven by weak sellers. They try to short, but then they cover. On the other side, bulls are not committed yet to 8000. There is no clear leadership in the market - they tried pumping META but the Muse effect has more dampened the bear thesis rather than strengthen the bull one.

Ugly sell off at the close, last 30 mins to the close today. Price was at the Smash, then went to UT1 and then hit DT1 by the close.
Quarterly MOC, $6bn sell side imbalance.. huge move and great opportunity for short into close
